Recent article for school magazine

It’s 6.30 am and your clever Mum or wonderful Dad/carer is making your school lunch! Do you have the best lunch in The Netherlands? Is it the healthiest, the most colourful, the tastiest?  Do you know which foods help you have energy all day? Which foods help your brain learn? What foods we need everyday? Guess what The Food Forum is here to help you (and your parents)  with everyday lunch box ideas to help you make yummy, healthy, great to look at and easy to prepare recipes. And we need kids to help us with their ideas as well. Send us a picture of your favourite lunch box or picnic food and we will put it on our blog with your name and school. We know that kids have great ideas - so help us to help others!

Simple Carrot and Cranberry Salad.

Grate 4 young peeled organic carrots (taste to make sure they are good and sweet) place in a pretty bowl.

Mix in some raisins cranberries and sultanas.

Squeeze in the juice of half a lime and add some mint or coriander leaves .

Add in some poppy seeds and toasted coconut if desired !
